Centreline radius = 1.5D. Most common elbow type. Lowest pressure drop — preferred for process piping where space permits.
Centreline radius = 1.0D. Compact layout where space is limited. Higher pressure drop than LR. ASME B16.28 coverage.
Half-angle elbow for gradual direction changes. Lower turbulence than 90°. Used in combination with 90° elbows for offset runs.
U-bend returning flow 180°. Used in heat exchangers, serpentine coils and compact piping arrangements.
Compact U-bend with 1.0D radius. For tight serpentine coils and heat exchanger manifolds with space constraints.
Heavy-wall elbows to EN 10253 Type B: +15–20% nominal wall thickness, tighter OD tolerances, orbital-weld bevel, mandatory EN 10204 3.1 MTR. Required for PED Cat III–IV.

If your project requires PED 2014/68/EU Category III or IV certification, you must specify EN 10253 Type B elbows. Arshya is one of the very few Indian manufacturers certified to supply Type B across all material families. Always state "EN 10253 Type B" clearly in your RFQ — Type A will not satisfy PED Cat III–IV requirements.
