Sour service requires NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 compliance. Carbon steel must have hardness ≤22 HRC and may require HIC testing. For temperatures where CS is insufficient, Duplex 2205 (1.4462) is preferred for high chloride + H₂S. Incoloy 825 (2.4858) resists polythionic acid attack. Inconel 625 (2.4856) is used in the most aggressive sour gas injection wells. Specify sour service and NACE MR0175 compliance explicitly in your purchase order.
Our core scope is ASME B16.9 (buttweld), ASME B16.11 (forged SW & threaded), and EN 10253-1/-2/-3/-4. ASME B16.9 is referenced by ASME B31.4 and B31.8 which are the primary pipeline codes used in the oil & gas industry. We also supply MSS SP-75 pipeline fittings (WPHY 52, 60, 65, 70) to order. Standard supply: EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate with heat chemistry, mechanical properties, heat treatment, and heat number traceability. EN 10204 3.2 with TUV Rheinland or Lloyd's Register Asia is available for PED Cat III–IV and offshore projects. NACE supplementary documentation (HIC test reports, SSC test data) available on request for sour service. Dimensional inspection reports per applicable ASME B16.9 / EN 10253 inspection criteria available on request.
